Kalachakra Initiation or empowerment is the only Anuttara Tantra given freely to general public without prior requisite such as completing the preliminary practices etc.

This is probably due to the close connection that exist between the Tantra and the King of Shambhala who will play a pivotal part in the coming great global conflict of the 25th century. Creating a connection with Kalachakra will also lead one to take rebirth in Shambhala, the only pure land in this earth.
The Seven Initiations of entering like a child - these initiations are given on the basis of a sand Mandala. They clear away the defilement of ill deeds and authorise the disciple to undergo the generation stage practice. They are also called the Water Initiation as each of the seven initiation is follow by a water initiation. Each initiation empower the disciple to attain certain level of attainment and is analogous to a particular event in a child's growth. The disciple who attains these seven initiations and fulfilled the requirement of generation stage practice will attain the seventh bhumi in this life. However, if death befall the disciple before the attainment, remaining free from the ten non-virtues actions, he will definitely achieve it within seven lifetimes. | ||
